Owner & Principal Artist - Isaac Guerra

Bold words from Isaac Guerra at 21 — not rebellion, just a promise to do life his own way.

Decades later, he’s kept it—shaping culture across South Texas through art, music, and gathering spaces.

From helping revive the Historic Cine El Rey to creating España Nouveau Mediterranean, Guerra has built places where people come to connect, experience, and be inspired.

Through The Phoenix Gallery, he brings it all together—art, people, and experience—while opening the door for fellow Rio Grande Valley artists to share their work.

Today, Guerra leads España and The Phoenix Gallery, helping shape the McAllen Arts District and serving on the board of the Museum of South Texas. Known for his warmth and South Texas hospitality, he creates spaces where people feel welcome and inspired.
